FOUNDER GHOSTWRITING / VOICE RESEARCH

How does a ghostwriter learn a founder's voice for X?

Your posts should sound like someone who knows how you think.

A ghostwriter learns a founder’s voice by listening to how they explain decisions, reviewing existing writing and testing drafts against examples the founder accepts. Capture vocabulary, rhythm, opinions and phrases to avoid, then refine the brief through specific feedback. Nowix uses interviews and approved examples to write X posts grounded in your actual perspective.

WHAT WE BUILD TOGETHER

I learn your perspective before writing in your name.

A voice brief is more useful than a list of adjectives. We work from how you describe real decisions and use accepted drafts to make the writing guidance concrete.

01

A focused founder interview

I ask about your product, customers, decisions and opinions, gathering the explanations and language that make your perspective specific.

02

A practical voice brief

We document sentence style, recurring terms, stance, boundaries and examples of what sounds right or wrong, with reasons your future drafts can follow.

03

A calibration set of drafts

I write a small agreed set across useful formats. Your feedback refines both the posts and the voice brief before recurring work begins.

THE WORKING RELATIONSHIP

Build the voice from things you actually say.

We agree the work, approvals and budget before starting. You work with me throughout.

  1. 01

    Gather real examples

Send writing you recognise as your own and examples you dislike. We discuss why, then use the interview to capture your natural explanation of a product decision.

  2. 02

    Draft and compare

I turn the source material into initial posts and explain the intended angle. You mark the wording, emphasis or opinion that needs changing.

  3. 03

    Refine the working brief

We preserve accepted examples and update the voice guidance. The next writing batch uses those decisions, with factual checks kept alongside voice feedback.

Frequently asked questions

What if I have hardly posted before?

We can work from conversations, voice notes, presentations or explanations you give customers. I use an interview to capture how you reason, then refine the first drafts with you.

Can you make the posts sound more polished?

Yes, while keeping the meaning and personality you want. We agree what “polished” means through examples—clearer structure, shorter sentences or less repetition—rather than applying a generic founder style.

How should I give voice feedback?

Point to the phrase and explain what feels wrong: you would use another word, make a weaker claim or emphasise a different reason. An edited example gives us reusable guidance for future drafts.

Will the voice brief include my opinions?

Yes, where those opinions guide the content. I record the actual position and its reasoning, including exceptions. You approve the stance before it appears in a post under your name.

Does a voice brief remove the need to review posts?

It makes review more focused, but the founder still approves their perspective and the team checks product facts. We agree the review rhythm and use accepted examples to reduce repeated corrections.
